First-of-its-Kind Solution Will Create Jobs, Spur Investment and Modernize Public Safety Communications across Georgia
ATLANTA, Nov. 17, 2017 – Georgia is advancing communications capabilities for first responders. Governor Nathan Deal has accepted the FirstNet and AT&T* plan to deliver a wireless broadband network to the state’s public safety community. The FirstNet network will bring advanced technologies that will help Georgia’s first responders save lives and protect communities…..
I would like to express my regrets to all who were impacted by my mistake as to the date of the October meeting.
The “NEXT” Quarterly meeting as discussed at the close of the August meeting in Athens was to be scheduled for October 19th and to be held at Georgia Public Safety Training Center.
I inaccurately confirmed the meeting date a couple of weeks before October 12th as being correct. This was my error and mine alone.
Your time and your personnel’s time are precious and a commodity that GMAG does not take lightly. Again, please accept my apology for the scheduling error.
Thank you for your time and commitment to serve one another as we each serve our communities.
