| GMAG works through the active involvement of member agencies represented by their agency leaders. Upon joining, agency leaders (Full Members) automatically become members of the GMAG Board of Directors. The Board annually selects an Executive Board to lead the organization. An Executive Director assists with the administrative duties of the group, while Area teams work on Administrative, Operational, and Logistical projects, as well as respond to emergencies. |

| Important FCC MANDATES that Affect YOU ! - Friday, January 15, 2010 |
|
Over the last several years, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and other Federal Government agencies have issued multiple mandates that require major changes to radio system infrastructure and subscriber hardware across the entire United States. In many cases, agencies must completely replace both the system infrastructure and subscriber units, while other agencies might simply need to update and/or reprogram various components of their system. Regardless of the path, all agencies must follow these mandates to meet critical deadlines set forth by the FCC and other government agencies. This document will cover in detail the three primary mandates that might affect you and what is expected of all spectrum users moving forward.

| GMAG Notification Maintenance Tool Announced. - Monday, January 05, 2009 |
KEEP YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION DATA UP TO DATE
In an effort to keep the Notification server for GMAG up to date with current information we have developed a on-line information submittal tool. You can now add, update and remove information by filling out the form on-line. Please continue to submit a complete Contact Worksheet through your Area Coordinator. This new tool is currently designed for data capture only, and does not retrieve and display your current information, nor does it automatically update the databases.
After completing the form you can expect to receive confirmation that the changes have been made in the form of a test page with in a couple of days. If you have questions or need further assistance you can send an email to notify at gmag.org or contact your department liaison or your Area Coordinator directly.
