Smyrna FD requests 5 engines to assist in overhaul of 400,000 sf warehouse fire full of paper and office products that started last date. Request is to give relief to Smyrna and Cobb Co which had been on scene since inception. Atlanta (2 engines), Forest Park, DeKalb and Sandy Springs filled request.Lead Agency: Statewide
DC Brent Willis on behalf of McDuffie Command request 3 engines and 3 tenders to assist on large lumber facility fire.Water shortage was critical.3 tenders from Morgan Co(2) and Oconee Co.3 engines-Putnam Co,Social Circle and Covington-all enroute.Lead Agency: Statewide

The COLS program provides company officers with specific leadership training geared toward their department responsibilities. This comprehensive program has established learning objectives based on NFPA 1021 Job Performance Requirements (JPRs) and the IAFC Officer Development Handbook, Second Edition.
This program offering is the second level of the IAFC’s Officer Development Program (ODP), providing company officers the essential skills to function at or transition to a leadership role. Participants leave with tools and resources to be successful as a leader in their department and their community.
- There are no prerequisites for this course; however, this is a follow-on course if you previously completed ODP-COLS I.
- Attendees must attend all sessions and all days of the program to receive credit.
